Apple Cranberry Sauce (P, KLP, TNT)
Source: Gourmet, December, 1999
Yield: 3 cups

3 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into pieces
1 cup cranberries
1 cup water
7 tablespoons sugar

Bring all ingredients to a boil in a 3-qt. saucepan.

Cook covered over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes. Serve at room temperature.

Keeps covered and refrigerated for 1 week.
