2 salmon steaks or fillet portions (other thick fish work well too)
Clean the fish and squeeze the lemon juice all over it.
In a microwave dish, (I use a pyrex rectangular pan that has a plastic cover) put half the sliced vegetables and half the salsa you want to use. Then put the fish in on top of the vegetable-salsa bed. Top the fish with the rest of the vegetables and salsa.
Cover tightly and microwave on high about 5-7 minutes. Check for doneness. The thicker the fish and the more pieces you do, the longer it will take. If it is done to your taste, eat it, if not, cook it a minute or two longer and check.

1/2 to 1 green pepper, sliced
1/2 to 1 cup salsa; choose your own heat choice
