Salmon fillets
Marinate the salmon in the syrup and soy for 24 hours. Remove from marinade and sprinkle liberally with pepper. Grill.
Voila! This caramelizes the outside of the fish and it really good, but it is sweet. You can adjust the amounts of syrup and soy sauce to your taste (I use 1/2 cup of each) and the amount of fish.

I have brought this to a bris and a Seder where it was a great hit.
