Gefilte Fish Terrine, Tricolor IV (P, KLP, TNT)

Serves: 6 to 8

2 loaves of prepared gefilte fish
2/3 bag spinach, chopped, defrosted
1 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
3 to 4 carrots, cooked

Mash defrosted loaves of fish in a large bowl. Add sugar, egg, and salt and pepper.

Divide loaves in half.

Take one half, divide again in half and separate into bowls. Mash cooked carrot and mix into one 1/4 of fish.

Squeeze any excess liquid from spinach. Mash into 1/4 of fish.

Spray a loaf pan LIGHTLY with spray (or use baking paper). Smooth fish in, one layer at a time, taking care to smooth after each addition.

Bake at 350°F (180°C) for one hour.

Allow to cool completely before removing from loaf pan.

Poster's Notes:
For the fish loaves, I used what was just what I had on hand.

For the spinach, I defrosted mine in a colander so the extra liquid would drip out.
