1 frozen loaf of gefilte fish
Remove all wrappings from the fish log and place in a 9"x5" loaf pan (I sprayed mine first).
Chop the onion and mix in the tomato sauce and jam. Pour over the fish and bake 350°F for 75 minutes. Cool and then chill. Slice and serve.

1 10-oz. can mushroom tomato sauce OR tomato sauce
1/2 10-oz. jar apricot jam or preserves
My friend passed on a TNT quick recipe for gefilte fish that I made for Shabbos this week and it was really nice. I now keep a frozen log of fish in my freezer for last minute emergencies.
