6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
Add chocolate chips and boiling water to blender; whirl at high speed for 15 seconds. Add rest of ingredients; blend until well mixed. Pour into glasses; chill in refrigerator until firm.
Poster's Notes:
Serves 2 to 4, but it's almost too much for two because it is VERY rich.

Nutritional Info Per Serving: N/A
1/4 cup boiling water
1 egg
1/2 cup heavy cream (or pareve cream)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (or liqueur)
I am sending this recipe because it is wonderful. My daughter was having guests and didn't feel like futzing so I hunted for a recipe I hadn't used in something like 15 years. I know it has raw eggs, I know the feelings on this subject run high. Delete at will. All I can say is that it is idiot's delight and has never failed to please. I have been doubling it using pareve Telma cream and 3 bars of bittersweet chocolate.
