"Jello" Mold, Strawberry-Applesauce (P, TNT)

Serves: 6-8

10 ounces frozen strawberries, defrosted
3 ounce box of strawberry gelatin
1 16-ounce can applesauce or 25-ounce bottle, unsweetened best

Bring applesauce to a boil.

Turn off heat, add gelatin and defrosted strawberries with their liquid. Mix well.

Pour into mold or a nice bowl. Chill for at least 2 to 3 hours.

Poster's Notes:
I'll often use frozen raspberries and raspberry gelatin instead of strawberry. The frozen berries work better than fresh ones, the extra liquid is needed to cut down on sweetness and the fruit itself is softer.
