Source: Self
Serves: 3 to 4

1 can Kadota figs in heavy syrup
2 packets sweetener
1 capful of key lime juice
A pinch of salt

As usual, freeze the can of fruit. Remove fruit from can, and cut into chunks. Whiz in food processor with other ingredients. Freeze until ready to serve.

Poster's Notes:
I've been on the lookout for new and different canned fruits to try for the sorbet. It's hard to find unusual ones in my local supermarkets, but I recently came upon Oregon Kadota Figs in heavy syrup at a local Shoprite. Although I don't think I would ordinarily have picked up a can of figs, I decided to do so in the spirit of experimentation. The result was delicious. Now it's my newest favorite flavor with a little interesting crunch from the tiny seeds. It's definitely a keeper.
