Yield: About 1 pint

1 pint of heavy cream
2 egg yolks
12 packets of sucralose-type sweetener
2 tsp. vanilla extract

In a small saucepan, thoroughly whisk together the egg yolks, cream, and packets of sucralose.

Heat slowly to a bare simmer and stirring constantly, cook mixture until it thickens enough to coat a spoon. Add the vanilla. Cool.

Taste the mixture and decide if it is sweet enough. If not, add more sweetener. Use the mixture in your ice cream maker.
