Ice Cream, Charoset (D, KLP, TNT)

Yield: 4-1/2 cups

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
1-1/2 cups charoset (click here for recipes)
Sugar, to taste
Cinnamon, to taste

Add all ingredients to ice cream machine container according to manufacturer's directions.

Poster's Notes:
A few years ago, my husband bought a Cuisinart ice cream machine on sale to use for Pesach. It's the kind where the container needs to be frozen, but the machine is powered rather than hand-cranked. I usually put up one batch for the first 2 days of Yom Tov; another at the end. Anyway, I had some leftover charoset and added a little extra cinnamon and sugar along with the cream and milk and voila, Charoset Ice Cream.

When my husband came in to "clean" the beater, he said, "It's good, what is it?" Then the flavors hit and he said, "Ugh, it's charoset!" Amazing what a name can do, isn't it?
