6 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
Place chocolate in a 1-quart slow cooker/crockpot. Cover and heat 30 to 45 minutes or until chocolate melts.
Stir in sugar, cream, margarine or butter, and salt. Cook 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Whisk until smooth. Gently stir in liqueur.
Spear cake cubes, marshmallows, and/or fruit with fondue forks or cocktail toothpicks. Dip into chocolate mixture.
