1 pound of rhubarb, leaves trimmed, bottoms off, cut into 1" pieces
In the bottom of an oven-proof dish put the rhubarb. Sprinkle with sugar and water.
In another dish mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and margarine or butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle the mix in an even layer over the rhubarb.
Bake in the oven Gas 5, 375°F or 190°C for 40 minutes or until crunchy and golden brown.

12 ounces porridge oats
4 ounces brown sugar
3 ounces margarine or butter
I put this on the hot plate on Shabbat morning double wrapped with foil (Precooked on Friday) on an upturned plate so it doesn't burn. We have it with pareve ice cream too!
