Hebrew Letter Pretzels (P, TNT)

2 tablespoons yeast
2 teaspoons honey
2 2/3 cups flour
1 egg

Dissolve the yeast in 1 cup warm water.

Add the honey and flour to the yeast mixture. Blend into dough. Knead the dough until well mixed.

Break off walnut size pieces of dough and roll into snake shapes.

Form the snake shapes into Hebrew letters. You can trace Hebrew letter shapes on wax paper and use them as a guide to form the pretzel letters.

Brush letters with beaten egg. Sprinkle with salt (Use Kosher Salt, if available, which is coarser and typically found on pretzels).

Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes or until browned.
