1/2 cup shortening
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Stir until blended. Add persimmon pulp and stir. Sift in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir. Add raisins and stir until well distributed.
Drop by dessert teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375°F for 12 minutes.
