Mandelbread, Chocolate Chip II (P, TNT)
Source: My friend Sandy
Yield: Varies

1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
12 ounces chocolate chips
1 cup oil
3 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla

In a large bowl mix together the sugar, oil and eggs. Then add flour, baking powder and vanilla. Mix well.

Add chocolate chips. The mixture should be very thick and sticky. Shape into three thin loaves and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

Take out and slice. Then put back into oven for 5 to 7 minutes.

Poster's Notes:
When you form the loaves, the dough is very sticky. It helps to flour your hands.

I often make this mandelbread. I got the recipe from my friend Sandy and it is always well received. It's very forgiving in that the measurements don't have to be exact and it always comes out good.
