1 18.25-ounces yellow cake mix
Sift cake mix and flour; set aside. Beat eggs, water, and extract. Add cake mix and flour on very slow speed of mixer; mix until blended. Do not overmix. Mixture will be sticky.
Sprinkle some powdered sugar on some waxed paper, roll the batter in the powdered sugar. Form into a cylinder. Wrap the cylinder in plastic wrap. Place in the freezer for a few hours.
Remove from the freezer and slice the cylinder into quarter inch slices. And...with your fingers shape into circles and fill with you favorite fillings; remember to pinch corners. For best results use a 1/2 teaspoon of filling.
Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes on parchment lined cookie sheets. Let cookies cool on the cookie sheet. They will be soft at the end of the baking.
