4 cups of flour
Preheat oven 350°F. Use ungreased cookie sheet.
Combine margarine and sugar together until it forms a ball. Mix eggs and vanilla and add to sugar mixture. Add flour and baking powder along with rest of the ingredients. Knead until smooth, but not sticky.
Roll out on floured board 1/8th" thick. Cut 3-1/2' rounds. Fill center with heaping teaspoon of desired filling.
Draw two sides together and then third across to form a 3-cornered pocket. Wet edges with water and pinch sides together.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes or until golden. Takes about thirty minutes depending on your oven.

2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup sugar or sugar substitute. I used sugar sub for one batch did not have any problems
1/4 teaspoon salt
I found it very easy to make. In fact my hamantaschen came out perfect for the first time in many years.
