1/3 cup butter
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Cream the butter and honey in a bowl. Add the egg and beat until well-combined. Add the baking soda, spices and almonds, mixing well. Stir in the flour.
Pinch off marble-sized pieces of the dough and roll them in your hands, then flatten them on a floured surface with your palms.
Spread jam on half of the cookies. Cover each one with a plain cookie and seal the edges with your fingertips so that the jam does not leak out while the cookies are baking.
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
When they have cooled, sprinkle icing sugar over them.
