Chocolate Chip Cookies, Double (P, TNT)

Yield: 3 to 4 dozen

2 cups flour, sifted
1 instant chocolate pudding/pie filling mix
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup margarine, softened but not melted
12 to 18 ounces chocolate chips
3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda

Sift together flour, baking soda, white sugar, and dry pudding mix.

In separate bowl, beat margarine, brown sugar, and vanilla, until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for about 15 minutes. Place cookies on towel (paper towel is OK) or rack to cool.

Poster's Notes:
Vanilla pudding can be substituted for regular chocolate chip cookies.
