1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
Cream butter, sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. In another bowl, stir together dry ingredients (except powdered sugar); beat into creamed mixture until well blended. Cover, and chill until firm enough to handle.
On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/8" thick, cut with a Star of David-shaped cookie cutter. Bake at 350°F, 5 to 7 minutes, or until no imprint remains when touched lightly. Cool for 1 minute before removing from pan. When completely cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
