Squares, Peanutty Banana (P, TNT)
Source: Better Homes and Gardens, September 1984
Serves: 24

1 cup (3 to 4) mashed bananas
3/4 cup chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup margarine
1 slightly beaten egg
2 cups graham crackers crumbs (I make my own in the food processor)
3/4 cup toasted wheat germ
Sifted powdered sugar

Mix first five ingredients in mixer. Stir in crumbs and wheat germ (can be done by hand ). Spread in greased (I use Pam or Mazola spray) 13"x9" baking pan. Bake in 350°F oven 30 to 35 minutes. Cool in pan; sift sugar on top.

Poster's Notes:
I was wondering what to do with some overipe bananas, other than make the usual banana bread or cake. Looking through my tons of recipes, I came across this one that I used to make for my children when they were small. I made it this week for my grandchildren and they loved it.
