2 cups sugar
Mix the sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add in four eggs and vanilla and beat until light (will turn lemony colored).
Sift together salt, potato starch, and cake meal. Add to wet ingredients and blend well.
Grease 8"x8" pan and bake at 350°F for about one hour.
Poster's Notes:
You can double this, but bakes best in two pans, not in one large 9"x13" pan.
These really are the best. I have it on good authority, from one of my daughters' friends when they were young. Our rabbi calls the children to the bimah at the end of services and talks with them. He asked them what did they like best about Pesach, and Jacob pipes up, "Mrs. Wolfson's brownies." Since I was sending the recipe to my daughter in Israel, I thought I'd share it with you all as well.

Nutritional Info Per Serving: N/A
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
1/2 cup butter or margarine
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup potato starch
1/2 cup cake meal
For the chocolate, you can substitute 4 tbsp. margarine + 12 tbsp. cocoa if necessary. I think it's better.
