1-1/2 lbs. (550g) plain chocolate
Grease and line a 9"x12" or 8"x10" (22cmx29-1/2cm or 19cmx26-1/2cm) baking pan. Pre-heat oven to 375°F (190°C) or gas mark 5.
Chop up half the chocolate and melt the other half with the butter or margarine.
Mix the eggs, coffee, and sugar together in a large bowl, and then beat in the melted chocolate. Fold in the flour, salt, walnuts, vanilla, and the chopped chocolate and pour into pan.
Bake for 45 minutes or until just firm in the center.
