Cut out circles from the dough, place filling on one side, fold into half circle and pinch ends together. (We made rings, crescents, and half moons.) Brush borekas with egg yolk.
Bake for about 20 minutes. The bottoms should get golden brown.

Nutritional Info Per Serving: N/A
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
8 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. melted margarine
Flour (book says as much as it will absorb; it was about 250g in my estimation)
250g ground walnuts (I used 100g, but then again, I do not like walnuts too much).
1 tbsp. sugar
1-1/2 tbsp. jam (This is to bind the sugar and the walnuts together. I think you can use water for this.)
Pinch of salt
1 egg yolk (For brushing. I used a whole egg; they came out whiter.)
Mix all ingredients for the dough together. It should be quite a soft dough.
Mix all ingredients for the filling (except for the egg yolk) together.
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
