Bars, Oatmeal (D/P, TNT)
Source: Quaker Oats box
Yield: 24

1 cup margarine or butter (I used margarine to keep them pareve)
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
3 cups quick or old fashioned oats, uncooked
1 cup craisins (cranberry raisins, dried cranberries)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Use ungreased 9"x13" baking pan (metal).

Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.

Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, mix well. Stir in oats and craisins.

Spread batter in pan and bake 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool and cut into logs or squares.
