3/4 cup butter
Cream butter with sugar and salt. Add flour and oats.
Melt chips in milk in double boiler.
Pack 2/3 oats mixture into greased 9"x13"x2" pan. Pour chocolate mixture over crust. Crumble remaining oats mixture over filling.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°F. Cut while still warm.
