Raita, Tomato-Onion (D, KLP, TNT)

Yield: About 2-1/2 cups

16 ounces plain yogurt
1 large red onion
2 medium-sized ripe tomatoes, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt

Dice the red onion (not too finely). Add the salt to the yogurt and beat lightly with a spoon. Add the onions and tomatoes. Mix well.

Poster's Notes:
This is a condiment offered in middle Eastern countries. Apparently it tastes good with any kind of fried rice.
