Kishke:
Place all but kishke ingredients in a crockpot. Cover with water and just let it cook on the low setting. Add water if necessary.
Chop the onion, carrot, and celery into pieces for a food processor. Add oil to make a paste. Measure flour into a bowl. Add the vegetable/oil mixture. Add salt and pepper, place in foil and place on top of cholent. This doesn't really slice well, but it tastes good.

Paprika for coloring
1 medium onion
1 carrot
1 stalk celery
1/3 cup oil
1 cup flour
Salt and pepper to taste
Here is my recipe for a pareve cholent. I have had lots of success with this one. People just cannot believe it is meatless.
