Vegetarian Cholent, Crockpot V (P)

Serves: 8 to 10

5 lbs. potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
1 cup navy or great northern beans
1 large onion, peeled and cut into chunks
1 cup barley
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tbsp. pepper
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/4 cup oil
Water, to cover

Combine all ingredients and place in crockpot on low.

Poster's Notes:
My friend makes this pareve cholent for her Shul every Shabbos. She says there's never a drop left.
