Rice:
Wheat Berries:
Put all "Rice" ingredients in a cooking bag ("cookie"); knot the bag or close with the tie, leaving extra space in the bag for the rice to expand. Pierce the bag near the knot and place on the top of the cholent, leaving to cook overnight.
Put "Wheat Berries" ingredients into a second bag; Knot the bag, leaving room for expansion.
Pierce the bag near the knot and place on top of the cholent to cook overnight.

NOTES: My neighbor, Heila Peretz, gave these two ideas to add to the top of your crockpot.... I loved them, but unfortunately, my kids didn't. I wish you better luck than I had with them!
