Rum Cake, Convenience (D, TNT)

Serves: 10-12

Cake:
1 package yellow cake mix
1 small package instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 cup rum
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs

Topping:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup rum
1/4 cup water
1 stick butter

Make Cake:
Mix cake ingredients for 2 minutes. Grease Bundt pan generously.

Sprinkle 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans in a 12-cup Bundt pan. Pour mixture in and bake 1 hour at 350°F. Remove from oven and poke holes in cake with toothpicks.

Make Topping:
While cake is baking, mix the topping ingredients and boil for 5 minutes. Pour over cake; wait 30 minutes. Turn out of pan.
