8 oz. cream cheese
Cream butter and cream cheese. Add sugar and beat until combined well. Add eggs one at a time then vanilla.
Stir the bottom of bowl, as cream cheese mixture seems to stay there. Add flour a little at a time until all 2 cups are used. NOW BEAT FOR 10 minutes.
Grease and flour a 10" tube pan. Bake at 350°F for about an hour.

I found this recipe on the internet a number of years ago and have used it many times. It is wonderful.
