2 cups flour
Have all ingredients at 75°F.
Sift flour before measuring. Resift with salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and baking soda.
Cream butter until soft. Add the sifted sugar gradually and cream these ingredients well. Stir the flour mixture in about 3 parts into the sugar mixture, alternating with thirds of the condensed tomato soup. Stir the batter until smooth after each addition. Fold in nut meats and raisins.
Bake in a greased tube pan for about 45 min at 350°F. When cool ice with your favorite frosting.
