Coffeecake, Mocha Convenience (D, TNT)

Serves: 8-10

1 box devil's food cake mix
4 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup coffee liqueur
3/4 cup oil
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Confectioners' sugar for dusting

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 10" tube pan.

Combine first five ingredients. Beat at medium speed for 3 to 5 minutes, until batter is thick and creamy. Fold in chocolate chips.

Pour into tube pan, tapping down gently to remove air pockets.

Bake for 55 minutes. Cool in pan for 30 minutes.

Invert on wire rack and remove from pan. Cool completely. Dust with confectioners' sugar.

Poster's Notes:
I have made this with coffee instead of liqueur and added some cinnamon.
