Coffeecake, Chocolate Banana I (D/P, TNT)

3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup margarine [2 sticks]
2 cups ripe bananas
1-1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup milk or rice dream or soy or non dairy creamer
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs [I use eggbeaters]
1 tbsp. oil
4 oz. applesauce [small individual]
1 bag chocolate bits dredged in flour

Beat margarine until creamy. Add sugar gradually. Add 2 tsp. milk, vanilla and eggs. Beat thoroughly. Dump in mashed bananas. When blended, add milk and flour alternately. Add chocolate bits, oil and applesauce.

Bake one hour at 350°F. Reduce 25 degrees if using glass pans.

Poster's Notes:
I find this is a very moist cake that it sometimes takes another 10 minutes to bake.
