Chocolate Cake, Flourless X (D/P, KLP, TNT)

12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate (chips work fine)
1/2 cup water
1-1/3 cup sugar
2 sticks of margarine or 1 cup oil
5 large eggs

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Boil water, sugar, and oil. When boiled, remove from heat. Stir in chocolate, then add eggs one at a time. Pour batter into 8"x8" pan.

Bake in a water bath at 350°F for 35 to 45 minutes until solid. Let cool before cutting.

Poster's Notes:
This is an extremely fudgy chocolate brownie/cake. It will be hard to cut neat pieces of; it may need to be scooped instead. I got this recipe from Carol Wald in Boston.
