2 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup oil
1 cup orange juice
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup coconut
Beat the eggs and the sugar until thick and creamy. Add the vanilla. Add the liquids and mix well and then beat in the flour and baking powder.
Pour all but about 1 cup of the batter into a greased tube pan. Mix the cocoa, chocolate chips and coconut into the batter remaining. Marbleize into the cake.
Bake in a moderate oven for one hour. There is no need for frosting, to make it more festive, sprinkle some confectioners sugar on top.
