Apple Cake, Pesach Easy (P, KLP, TNT)
Source: Natalie Lipnik
Serves: 16

3 Manischewitz coffee cake mixes
Eggs and oil per the mix instructions
Chopped walnuts
1 large apple, sliced thin or grated (no liquid)
Cinnamon, for sprinkling
Sugar, for sprinkling

Make the batter from the 3 mixes, following the directions exactly to get the correct amount of liquid--use measuring cup; too much apple or too much liquid will make the cake come out too raw.

Place 1/2 the batter in a well-greased 9"x13" cake pan.

Place the sliced/grated apple in one thin layer on top of the first 1/2 of the batter.

Sprinkle the apples with cinnamon and sugar to taste.

Put the remaining 1/2 of batter on top of apple layer.

Place only one of the crumb topping packets in a mixing bowl; add cinnamon and sugar to taste and chopped nuts to taste and mix together; sprinkle crumb/nut/cinnamon/sugar mixture on top of batter.

Bake at 350°F, following the time on the box but test with toothpick to be sure it's done. Avoid sticking toothpick into apples or the toothpick will always be wet.

Poster's Notes:
This cake tastes homemade.
