Almond Torte, Flourless (P, KLP)

1-1/2 cups almonds, blanched
1/2 cup maple syrup
3 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract

Blanch almonds in boiling water for 30 seconds. Peel skins and dry the almonds.

Grind dried almonds in food processor until like dust or flour. Add the remaining ingredients and process.

Pour in an 8" springform pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a 375°F oven.
