Matzo Brei, Savory (P, KLP, TNT)

5 matzos
4 eggs
A bit of cold water
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, dry dill
Some shredded carrots
Oil for the pan

Pour some hot/boiling water over the broken up matzos in a large bowl. Let sit for a few minutes until it softens a bit. Drain.

Beat 4 eggs in that bowl.

Add the drained matzos and the rest of the ingredients.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Pour in matzo mixture.

Fry on one side. Shake once in a while to make sure nothing sticks.

Use a plate to turn over and return to pan. Fry a few more minutes and turn out onto a serving plate.


Poster's Notes:
Because matzo brei is made with such bland ingredients, I like to be creative! Sometimes I even add some diced up fresh mushrooms.
