1/3 [2/3] cup shortening (or oil)
Boil oil and water together. Add sugar, salt and matzo, and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Add eggs one-at-a-time. Let mixture stand for 15 minutes.
Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet or into greased cupcake tin. Bake at 375°F for 30 to 40 minutes or until they are golden brown.

My niece brings these every year to our Passover Seder. They are quite delicious. Since she will not be joining us this year I will be making them (for the first time). These are easily doubled and I have added those amounts in [].
