Syrup, Chocolate (P, KLP, TNT)

Yield: Approximately 2 cups

3/4 cup cocoa
1-1/2 cups sugar
Dash salt
1 cup hot water
Dash of vanilla

Combine and stir dry ingredients gradually into the hot water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. While stirring, cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.

Stir in the dash of vanilla.

Poster's Notes:
I never bother with the dash of salt.

This lasts a long time. I put it into a squeeze bottle and use it to decorate the plate before putting on a slice of cake, or for ice cream topping, etc.
