1/2 carton soft or regular tofu (8 oz or so) (She recommends "silken" tofu, but it's still good using the other kind)
The above can be varied; if you don't have all the bananas, it still tastes good. Other fruit can be used (with fruits having pits, i.e. peaches, plums, etc., Madison recommends adding almond extract and vanilla). The possibilities are endless.
Puree the tofu and the fruit. Slowly add the soy milk, then the ice and sweetener until well mixed. And that's it!

Nutritional Info Per Serving: N/A
1 cup sliced strawberries
2 bananas
1 cup milk or soy milk (I use soy)
1/2 cup ice cubes
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
You won't believe how delicious this! I feel guilty, because it almost tastes like a real milkshake. It's from "This Can't Be Tofu!" by Deborah Madison; other recipes in this cookbook are wonderful too. And we all know how healthy soy is, plus it's not fattening.
