Mango Drink, Hispanic (D/P, KLP, TNT)

1 mango, peeled and diced
Water or milk
2 tbsp. sugar plus more for taste

Place peeled and diced mangoes in an electric blender. Add to start 2 tablespoons sugar and fill with water which reaches halfway up the mangoes in the blender. Grind completely, then taste for sugar.

To make with milk, follow the directions for the water procedure substituting milk.

Poster's Notes:
When this drink is made with water, it is called a batido (beaten drink). When it is made with milk it is called a meringada (meringue drink). Either way it is delicious. I usually prepare it with water as the mango flavor is more defined.
