2 to 4 strips of flanken
Spray a rectangle glass Pyrex (9"x13") with a non-stick spray.
Spread the beans on the bottom. Place the flanken on top of the beans. Season with the onion soup mix, pepper, and onion and garlic powders. Pour enough water to just about cover the beans. Cover tightly with foil. Place in a 250°F oven OVERNIGHT.

When you wake up in the morning, your house will smell delicious! I make this Thursday night. Refrigerate it in the morning, then reheat for Shabbos dinner.
