1 pound lean ground beef
In a large skillet, cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is brown; drain.
Add garlic salt, pepper, chili sauce, brown sugar, white vinegar, mustard, crushed red pepper (if using), and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool and serve with hamburger buns.

1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
6 hamburger buns
1 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)
This freezes very well.
