Shawarma I (M)
Serves: 6

3 lbs. breakfast steak, sliced into thin strips
1/4 cup water
1 large onion sliced
2 cloves garlic
1/2 stick margarine
salt, pepper, sumac, allspice to taste
3 loaves pita

1 bunch parsley chopped
1 small onion, slivered
1 small bag of radishes, diced
1/2 cup Tahini Sauce

Tahini Sauce:
1 cup tahini
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup lemon juice, or to taste
1 large clove garlic
1/2 cup water

Sauté the meat in the margarine with the onions, garlic and seasonings. Add the water and bring to a hard boil.

Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally until the meat is done. Stuff the meat mixture in the loaves of pita, add as much of the dressing mixture, wrap and enjoy!

In bowl, mix tahini, garlic, and salt. Add water and lemon. mix until creamy. You can thin this by adding more water or juice.
