4 pounds brisket or top of the rib
Coat pan with small amount of juice.
Place meat in pan and top with remaining ingredients.
Cover tightly and cook about 1-1/2 to 2 hours at 350°F.
Slice meat and put back in gravy until done (about another hour, depending on size of meat)

1 package brown broth seasoning
1 package onion soup mix
pepper
garlic powder
ketchup
*tomato-mushroom sauce may be used instead of juice
We usually go to my mom's for Yom Tov dinner, and she makes many, many things. There are always at least 3 main dishes. One is always roast turkey and another is a brisket, which I also make for Passover. It's a very easy, TNT, delicious recipe.
