Brisket w/Cranberry I (M, TNT)

Serves: 6

4 lb. brisket
1 can cranberry sauce
1 packet onion soup mix
1/4-1/2 cup water
freshly ground pepper

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Place the brisket in a large pan with a tight fitting lid. Mash cranberry sauce all over the top of the brisket. Sprinkle with powdered onion soup. Season with pepper. Pour water underneath and around brisket.

Cover tightly and bake at 350°F for about 3-4 hours, or until brisket is tender. Cool and slice.

Freeze with gravy or separately. Wonderful when served over or with noodles.
