Brisket w/Coke II (M, KLP, TNT)

Serves: about 12

4-5 lb. brisket
1-1/2 cups water
1/2 cup ketchup
1 package onion soup mix
1/2 can cola

Rinse brisket off well. Place in roasting pan. Add water. Pour ketchup over entire brisket. Add soup mix and cover over brisket, rubbing into ketchup. Pour Coca-Cola over all. Cover tightly with tin foil.

Place in oven at 350°F for 3 hours or until tender. Strain sauce for gravy. Slice and serve. (Hint: Best with Grandma Sally's kasha.)
